“I beg you. Be human, be human!” Margot Friedländer’s words are more relevant today than ever before. Talking to each other and searching for solutions so that what happened does not happen again – that is what we want to use this year’s commemoration of the November pogroms 87 years ago for.

To this end, the initiative “Herz statt Hetze” (Heart instead of Hate) invites you to a commemoration of the 87th anniversary of Kristallnacht on November 9, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Alte Leipziger Bahnhof, Eisenbahnstraße 1 in Dresden.

Afterwards, a program dedicated to the occasion will take place in the rooms of the synagogue of the Jewish Community of Dresden.
